In 2009, with many industries relying on Fluid Power in their manufacturing processes, Fluid Power Technology was established as the dedicated Fluid Power Division of Bearings and Drives. William founded Bearings and Drives Ltd in 1996 as Congleton Bearings supplying local industry and farming, leading to Bearings and Drives Ltd being established in 1998. With a wealth of industry expertise spanning 45 years, William has overseen the expansion of the company and product portfolio development to include MRO, Fluid Power and PPE products, leading to Bearings and Drives Ltd becoming one of the North West’s & North Staffordshire’s leading suppliers.
With 43 years’ of industry experience, John has a wealth of expertise in the supply and distribution of maintenance, repair and operations products. After co-founding the company with William, John oversees the purchasing and sales at Bearings and Drives Ltd, working closely with both customers and leading manufacturers to provide effective solutions.
With over 30 years’ experience in the Bearings and Transmission industry, Steve is ideally qualified to offer you balanced and informed technical advice on all your bearing and transmission requirements. An expert in the field of hybrid bearing technology he can easily offer guidance and recommendations on specific ‘problem area’ applications to offer you a bespoke solution.
As General Manager at Bearings and Drives Ltd, Ben has a key role in overseeing the entire customer journey, including understanding customer requirements, working closely with suppliers to generate competitive quotations, and ensuring the availability of the required products, to maintain a smooth flow throughout the enquiry to delivery process. Once the sales quotations are finalised and approved, Ben also manages the distribution process to ensure the efficient delivery of parcels to customers.
